hello
Welcome to Mind Body Metal!
This isn’t just a business—
it’s a reflection of what I believe and an investment back into my community.
Wellness begins with investing back into yourself. Massage is an integral foundation of wellness, bringing the body and mind back to a place of homeostasis.

Lymphatic Drainage:
Manual lymphatic drainage (MLD) is a modality of body work based on the hypothesis that doing so will help to encourage the natural drainage of the lymphatic system, which carries lymph away from the tissues and back towards the heart to be expelled as waste. Manual lymphatic drainage utilizes an extremely gentle and passive touch to encourage the lymphatic ducts to open and close.
During a lymphatic massage the practitioner will use a gentle touch to activate the lymphatic system which sits just below the surface of the skin, The effectiveness of lymphatic drainage lies in the ability to activate the stretch response, which significantly increases the pulsation rate of the lymphangion, thereby increasing the flow of lymph through the vessels
Craniosacral Therapy:
Craniosacral therapy is a gentle hands-on modality that utilizes and extremely light and gentle touch to examine the membranes and movement of the cerebral spinal fluid through the body and around the central nervous system, relieving tension through the activation of the parasympathetic nervous system promotes a feeling of well-being and may help to reduce pain and inflammation.

Reiki:
The word Reiki come from the Japanese words Rei, which means “universal life” and Ki, which means “energy”. As such reiki is an energetic form of modality in which the practitioner uses gentle hand movements as well as specific mudras and symbols, with the intention to guide the flow of “life giving” energy through the recipients body to reduce stress, remove energetic stagnation, and promote emotional healing. Reiki is a form of complementary, alternative healing and there is evidence that is may help the body to more easily enter into the parasympathetic state of relaxation allowing for the body to, potentially, better heal from damages brought on by stress, injury, or disease bringing us closer to homeostasis.
